FAQ

DO YOU SHIP?

We recommend shipping via UPS, the only carrier in our area that still insures for breakage. The Velvet Antler facilitates the shipping process by taking the pots to the UPS Store in Canmore, Alberta. The packing, insurance and shipping is paid for by the purchaser, and the relationship from that point on is between the purchaser and UPS.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

Yes, we offer gift certificates. Give us a phone call or contact us by email to discuss the cash value of the gift certificate, who you want it made out to and if you want to include a message. We issue the certificate and send it to you by email. All gift certificate values are in Canadian dollars.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept VISA, MasterCard and debit cards for in-person purchases at the Velvet Antler Pottery. If you purchase by phone or email, we accept VISA and MasterCard for payment.

ARE THE PRODUCTS FOOD SAFE?

Yes, we fire our pottery to 1260 degrees Celsius (or 2300 degrees Fahrenheit, considered high-fire ware) and use only glaze materials that are inert when vitrified (turned into a glass-like substance). Questions? Give us a call!
